The Office of Public Works (OPW) invites applications for appointment to the position of Advanced Scaffolder (GO Band 1) in the National Monuments Service of the OPW, based in the Mallow National Monuments depot area. This post will cover the area covered by the National Monuments District and is open to all candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

The position is a permanent Non-Established State Industrial post based on a 39-hour week (Monday to Friday) and the appointment will be subject to a probationary period of 7 months which may be extended to 10 months under certain circumstances. Continuation in employment in the position, once appointed, is subject to satisfactorily meeting the requirements of the position and performing the duties as directed.
