Category Development Buyer (Ambient/Chill)

Based at Barry Group, Head Office, Mallow; reporting to a Lead Buyer, you will work collaboratively with the Buying Department and wider Barry Group Team.

As a Category Development Buyer, you will be working for the family owned Barry Group, where your growth and ambitions are supported.

Daily responsibilities and desired experience:
• Maximise the sales and profitability of the designated product categories for both the Company and its Customers.
• Develop and implement a successful Strategic Development & Category Plan that will maximise the market share for all categories.
• Build effective partnerships with internal Barry Group functions, its Customers and Suppliers.
• Successfully deliver, the sourcing and supply of products at optimum price, quality, and on-time.
