About the Role:

Our Sydney office is recruiting for a Chemist to work within a multinational company (Ecolab) based onsite at a customer site located at Portland near Lithgow (Mount Piper Power Station). Ecolab offers field sampling and laboratory testing for a range of environmental and process water samples.

The role is an ongoing contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will report directly to the onsite Laboratory Manager. The successful candidate will report directly to the onsite Laboratory Manager. Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
• Conducts routine metals, anions and nutrients testing on process and environmental water samples.
• Maintain calibration records, analytical results and test reports.
• Maintain consumables, reagents, standard stock level and shelf life.
• Liaise with customers and contractors about testing schedules, requirements and results.
