The Opportunity

Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.

Reporting to the Works Coordinator - Building, you will provide efficient, effective and professional installation and maintenance of electrical fixtures, fittings, service cabling and associated elements for Council managed assets. You will be an interactive member of the Trades team, delivering quality customer service to the community and Council.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
• Carry out electrical works of a maintenance, improvement or construction nature within Council Buildings
• Assist in successful completion of multi-trade projects
• Repair and maintenance of electrical installations and systems for water and sewer operations including knowledge in Pump Station repairs and maintenance
• Carry out electrical tagging of Council’s electrical appliances and equipment
