Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
• Responsible for planning SMS shift operations in accordance to section business plan developed
• Responsible to ensure smooth operations during the shift in order to achieve set production targets.
• Ensure adherence to production SOP's, quality, safety & improvement initiatives
• Effectively manage communication between Shift In charges from EAF, LRF & VD and CCM sections and supervise the team of crane operators

Critical Tasks

KRA’s and Key Activities
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, section head to understand the daily shift wise production plan, targets and priorities for the respective shift for the three sections
• Attend hand-over meeting from previous shift to understand the status of various shift operating parameters
• Plan for timely availability of inputs of liquid steel from EAF to LRF for the secondary steel making to achieve desired chemistry, refined steel from LRF to CCM for casting into blooms and billets.
