Role:

Production Manager for wood manufacturing business based in Johannesburg producing furniture in flatpack form.

Essential Requirements

Must have provable experience of success working at management level, preferably in a wood based production environment.

Ability to manage diverse production range in small batch quantities

- Good working knowledge of PLC based equipment

- Ability to programme PLC from relevant DXF drawings

- Ability to manage staff and productivity across shift structures

- Working knowledge of SolidWorks advantageous

- Prior experience in flatpack design and manufacture advantageous

- General working knowledge of computers and proficiency in use of Excel.
