Role:

Production Manager for plastics injection moulding and assembly business based in Johannesburg producing products for the DIY and Plumbing industries.

Essential Requirements:

Must have provable experience of success working at management level in a plastics injection moulding based production environment.

Ability to manage diverse production and assembly in small batch quantities

- Good working knowledge of PLC based equipment

- Ability to programme PLC from relevant settings

- Ability to manage staff and productivity across shift structures

- Working knowledge of SolidWorks advantageous

- Working knowledge of tool design advantageous

Key Duties

- Purchasing planning

- Stock management

- Production planning and control.

- Staff and productivity management

- Quality Assurance

- Meeting of production targets within set productivity requirements

- Reporting to Management

- Training and upskilling of factory floor staff
