The Institute of Hygiene and Medical Microbiology at the Medical University of Innsbruck is currently accepting applications for a full-time Postdoctoral position (40h/week) in Immunology. The minimum salary for this role is EUR 66,532.20 (gross) per year without additional allowances. We are seeking an exceptional investigator with innovative approaches to join an ongoing research project funded by the Austrian Science Funds (FWF), focusing on host-pathogen interactions with a particular emphasis on T cell immunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist holding a Ph.D. degree, with a specific interest in immunology and a robust background in cellular immunology, molecular biology, along with some experience in microbial infections. Proficiency in handling human primary cells and practical skills in molecular and immunological techniques (such as ELISA, western blot, immunoprecipitation, PCR, flow cytometry, and confocal microscopy) are preferred.
