Key Responsibility
• Determine the practicality of design, material selection, available tooling, and end fabrication process, applying knowledge of drafting and manufacturing methods.
• Review concept drawings with the Technical Manager to establish a development plan for the General Arrangement (GA) and other assembly drawings.
• Ensure that clad product drawings meet required standards and non-standard project requirements, as applicable.
• Verify in AutoCAD/SolidWorks that specified tolerances do not conflict with other implied requirements and ensure dimensional control of clad products.
• Develop GA drawings from established concepts in collaboration with the Technical Manager, considering manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Create detailed designs for mechanical equipment using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.
• Develop clad product drawings for pipes, flanges, and fittings based on both standard and non-standard project requirements.
