• Involve appropriate parties in the assessment, treatment, and continuing care of the patient as needed

• Assess patient's conditions

• Develop comprehensive care plans

• Prepares and labels laboratory specimens for submission to appropriate laboratory

• Utilize knowledge of disease process to establish realistic goals for patients and significant others

• Care for children when they are hurt or do not feel well

React to emergency situations as they arise
