Seeking a General Foreman with Buildings projects experience (shapping malls, hospitals, office blocks etc) for a position with a construction company in Durban.

Responsibilities include:
The Competent foreman needs to be able to coordinate operations and oversee workers on the construction site. He is the key person on site for both workers and supervisors.

Must have solid knowledge in construction and have the ability to direct work of others.

Must be well organised and safety conscious.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Construction of works to latest engineering / architects drawings and specifications
• Planning based on construction program to meet target end date.
• Co-ordination of plant, labour, formwork and materials on site.
• Take pride in work on site and ensure works are carried out to best possible quality and protected during the project to minimize snags at practical, works and final completion.
• Supervise and train workers and tradesmen.
