On behalf of our client, a medical devices company, we are currently recruiting for an Environmental Health & Safety Officer. This is a full-time position based in Bray Co. Wicklow.

Purpose of job

Using the site specific EHS Management system, ensure that the company is in full and ongoing compliance with European and international environmental regulations. Ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation. Developing, implementing, and improving the Health & Safety plans, programmes, and procedures on site.

Role & Responsibilities

Health & Safety
• Manage the Site Health and safety System.
• Assist in the review of raw material SDS for compliance and H&S impacts.
• Carry out Risk assessments in conjunction with specific process and chemical area owners.
• Report Loss Time incidents to the H.S.A. Foster and advocate Safety First ethos on site. Responsible for H&S training – First Aid, Manual Handling and other as appropriate.
