Job Description
Job Summary:

The Building Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the assigned building areas. This role ensures that all common spaces, offices, restrooms, corridors, and facility surroundings are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times. The cleaner performs routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, surface sanitization, and basic maintenance support to create a safe and comfortable environment for employees, tenants, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas including offices, corridors, lobbies, staircases, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
• Sanitize high‑touch areas including door handles, switches, handrails, and restroom fixtures to ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty and dispose of waste from bins and ensure proper segregation and disposal of garbage.
• Clean and restock restrooms, including replenishing toiletries, soap, and paper supplies.
• Report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and cleaning tools safely and correctly.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Support building operations during events or special cleaning requirements when needed.
• Follow company safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a cleaner role is an advantage
• Ability to stay alert and act responsibly under pressure
• Good communication and observation skills
• Basic knowledge of emergency procedures
• Must be honest, punctual, and reliable
