Overtime pay is 125% of the hourly rate for the first two hours and 150% thereafter, calculated on 208 working hours per month. Employers must register salaries via the Wage Protection System monthly.

Applicants must be aged 21-65, hold a valid passport with 6 months validity, pass medical fitness test (AED 350), and obtain police clearance. The permit allows 60 days to enter UAE and convert to a 2-year residence visa via ICP.
Q What are the eligibility criteria like education and experience for driver jobs in UAE?
No minimum education is required for light vehicle driver roles, but high school certificate is mandatory for heavy vehicle or truck drivers as of 2026.
