At Toll Group, we are proud to be expanding our Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract.We’re looking for skilled MC Driver to help support and deliver all General Freight to Defence customers in a high professional manner. You will be driving between 3 vehicles when required.Based at RAAF Amberley in Amberley QLD you’ll act as a critical bridge supporting both warehouse & transport in delivering freight in and around QLD as required, assisting with loading vehicles and some assistance within the warehouse of picking/preparing freight for dispatch within the Defence and contractual obligations. You will be driving between HC & MC vehicles as well as assisting with Local and Linehaul deliveries (when required). How You’ll Make The Right ImpactAs a Spokerun/HR Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:Ensuring the safe delivery of consignments with no damageLoad your vehicle and restrain your load each dayComplete safety vehicle checksUse of scanner and or complete paperwork when necessaryActively participate and attend safety and toolbox meetingsActively participate in incident investigationsComply with all legislated road laws and regulations, including both private and public networksConduct all tasks within a customers’ site or in public arena with professionalismWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for motivated professionals who bring:Ability to work both autonomously and in a close team environmentProvide flexibility for the various distribution tasks requiredAbility to interact with a diverse team at all levels of the organisation’s hierarchyInterpersonal awarenessAbility to problem solveOpenness and integrityStrong customer focusAbility to interpret and follow work procedures and instructionsEligibility to make the gradeTo Apply For This Role, You MustBe an Australian Citizen.
