Job Description
Job Summary
• To take responsible care for the health and safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their acts, or omissions at work
• To cooperate with employer in assisting them to fulfil statuary duties
• Not to interfere with deliberate or misuse anything provided in accordance with health and safety legislation, to further health and safety at work.
• Understand the requirements set by the Company’s QHSE policy and comply with it activities.
• Provide a high standard of personal example of HSE.
• Reporting unsafe acts, conditions within the work though LPT/IMT Observation Card

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
• Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
• Follow up company QHSE driving standards and procedures.
• Participate in materials deliveries for purchases and repairs across the Bahrain boarder.
• Be familiar with Bahrain customs and clearness material regulations.
• Comply with the company journey plan procedures.

Preferred Education/Experience:
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• 3 years of related Heavy and light vehicle driving practices, with valid licenses.
• High school graduate

Physical Strain:
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
