Job Description
If you've spent years roughing in suites, chasing leaks through stacked units, and navigating tight mechanical rooms in high-rises — your skills translate directly here. We just don't have the sewage.

Envirotech Geothermal installs high-efficiency heating systems across Alberta. We're looking for a Journeyman Plumber who knows how to work in occupied buildings, coordinate across trades in multi-family builds, and deliver clean, precise mechanical installs in spaces where there's no room for error.

What you'll be doing

Installing geothermal heat pumps, hot water systems, and hydronic piping on new builds and retrofits - the kind of work that draws on everything you've learned in multi-family and high-rise environments. PEX distribution, tight-space retrofits, drywall cuts, building system integration. Less reactive, more purposeful. You'll be part of a skilled crew where the installs are complex and the materials are clean.

Some out-of-town work (northern and southern AB) during the week is part of the role.

What we're looking for
• Journeyman/Red Seal Plumber with a minimum of 3 years' experience
• Background in multi-family residential, apartments, or high-rise construction — you know how stacked systems work and how to work around active occupants
• Solid with PEX, HDPE fusions, and hot water systems
• Comfortable with retrofit adaptations and drywall cutting
• HVAC exposure is a strong asset
• Clean driver's licence and strong communication

What's in it for you
• $40–$45/hr depending on experience, with overtime opportunities
• Monday to Friday, year-round, steady 40–44 hrs/week
• In-house training in geothermal and renewable HVAC systems
• Career growth in a sector that's genuinely expanding
• Health Spending Account after probation
• Work that reduces emissions and saves clients real money

About Envirotech Geothermal Founded in 2006, we're Alberta's established leader in geothermal and high-efficiency HVAC installations. Small enough to care about craftsmanship, experienced enough to take on complex projects.

Work location: In person (Edmonton base, with AB travel)

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Benefits:
• Casual dress
• On-site parking
