Our client is seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Welder to join their dynamic fabrication team in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, CA . This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about metalworking and looking to build a long-term career in a skilled trade. As an Apprentice Welder, you will receive comprehensive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals, covering various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. You will learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities will include assisting senior welders with preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, performing basic welding tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also be involved in inspecting welds for quality and adherence to standards, as well as performing routine maintenance on welding tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. A foundational understanding of metal properties and welding processes is beneficial, but not strictly required, as extensive training will be provided. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in various positions, and comfort working with hand and power tools.
