You will be responsible for Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and MIG welding (GMAW) on structural components for our all-terrain utility vehicles. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure the quality and robustness of our final products.-Rigorously follow assembly and welding plans to comply with dimensions as well as specifications for weld types and sizes (fillets, bevels, etc.).-Clean weld spatter and ensure all sharp edges are removed for a flawless finish.-Maintain constant control over assembly geometry using spacers and jigs.-Handle assemblies weighing up to 4,000 pounds using cranes and chains.-Contribute to maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work environment.-Perform all other related tasks to support the production team.QualificationsTraining and professional experience for the welder fitter at a heavy equipment company in Ville Saint-Laurent:-DEP in welding fitting-At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.-CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification is in reading welded assembly plans and geometry control.-Solid experience in quality control and a strong sense of to work under pressure and prioritize requests.-Strong work ethic, dedication to tasks, and project completion.-Curiosity and analytical mind: you are a "thinker" eager to understand how systems function.-Ability to operate a crane and lift chains.-Additional assets: experience in mechanics, forklift operation, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.-Communication in english and in french is required since the collegues, with whom you will interact everyday, are either anglophones, and francophones.
