About the job You’re looking for fulfillment, we’re looking for You Packaging Development Manager As a Packaging Development Manager you will be leading the development of packaging cycle starting from the brief till industrial production in plant while respecting Food Safety and Danone quality standards, consumer satisfaction with best quality at optimum cost. About the job As a Packaging Development Manager, you will be doing the following activities: 1) Lead packaging development from brief until production and delivery to consumer as per DANONE Food Safety guidelines by: - Supporting on the design and selection of packaging material - Work with Industrial team to define packaging equipment - Work with supplier who provides packaging material or final packaging. - Work with Central team to ensure compliance 2) Participate in the Supplier Quality Assurance Program to ensure Food Safety for all Packaging material 3) Help Industrial to achieve Quality and productivity targets 4) Lead or participate in all cost optimization or Environmental sustainability projects 5) Prepare & finalize supplier agreement and packaging material specifications with C&P, Quality and production 6) Evaluate packaging solution for Quality, environment impact and cost 7) Validate packaging (new and modification to existing) through Industrial test from plant to destination (consumer) 8) Establish Food Dossier file for all new packaging projects 9) Validate that our packaging supplier can ensure conformity for Food Safety and Quality 10) Ensure that each plant has regular Packaging evaluation follow up 11) conduct CDA (frequency minimum 2 times annual) 12) Transfer Packaging Knowledge to Plant Quality team 13) High awareness of sustainability activities (internal and external) 14) Manage packaging master data and FG on SAP About you About you To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have: Bachelor of Engineering/Science. Experience: 3-5 years in that or similar area (preferably with a multinational company). Experience in FMCG is a must. Experience in Quality / Manufacturing is a plus Knowledge necessary: - Packaging chemistry and process - Food packaging line technology - Hygiene - Project Management - MRP/ERP (is a plus) Skills (Required skills to successfully do the job) Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools. Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
