Job Title: Carpenter

Job Summary:

The Carpenter is responsible for carrying out skilled carpentry and wooden furniture maintenance work to ensure the proper upkeep of organizational assets. The role involves assessing material and labor requirements, performing repair and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, and maintaining daily MIS records. The position requires flexibility to work in shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain carpentry maintenance services in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Perform skilled maintenance and repair of wooden furniture and other carpentry-related assets.
• Assess equipment, materials, and manpower requirements for large or complex carpentry works while minimizing material wastage.
• Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks to ensure maintenance issues are resolved in a safe, effective, and timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain daily MIS charts for verification and reporting purposes.
• Ensure adherence to safety norms and best practices while performing all carpentry activities.
• Work in assigned shifts as per operational requirements.

Qualifications:
• Relevant technical qualification in Carpentry or related trade.

Educational Qualification:
• Higher Secondary (12th Pass) – Required
• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Carpentry Works – Preferred

Professional Experience:
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in carpentry maintenance, furniture repair, or related work.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and work instructions.
• Good problem-solving and assessment skills.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices.
