Job Description
Key Responsibilities

1. Packing Operations
• Execute packing activities for:
• Blister packing
• Strip packing
• Bottle packing
• Cartoning / Labeling
• Follow Batch Packing Record (BPR) instructions accurately.
• Achieve packing targets as per production plan.

2. Equipment Operation
• Operate packing machines such as:
• Blister machine
• Strip machine
• Bottle filling and capping machine
• Labeling machine
• Cartoner / Shipper packing
• Perform basic activities:
• Machine setup assistance
• Changeover support
• Routine cleaning
• Report breakdowns or abnormalities to supervisor.

3. GMP & Line Clearance
• Strict adherence to:
• GMP guidelines
• SOPs
• Safety procedures
• Support and follow:
• Line clearance
• Area clearance
• Ensure prevention of:
• Mixups
• Cross-contamination
• Mislabeling

4. Documentation Support
• Make realtime entries in:
• BPR
• Equipment logbooks
• Cleaning records
• Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Support officers during document verification.

5. Material Handling
• Handling and verification of:
• Printed packing materials
• Foils, cartons, labels, inserts
• Inprocess and finished packed goods
• Ensure correct:
• Status labeling
• Material identification
• Maintain traceability of packing materials.

6. Quality & IPC Support
• Assist during:
• Inprocess checks (IPC)
• Sampling activities
• Immediately inform supervisor in case of:
• Packing defects
• Print issues
• Yield variation
• Support investigation activities when required.

Education:
• B. Pharma/Diploma /ITI
• Relevant technical training in pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage

Experience
• 03 to 10 years of experience in OSD pharmaceutical production
• Hands-on experience with OSD equipment is preferred

Skills & Competencies
• Knowledge of OSD manufacturing processes
• Understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and safety norms
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Good documentation practices
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
