Delivery Driver

As per the Public Authority for Manpower, the minimum recruitment salary for light vehicle drivers is KD 145 per month effective January 2026. This includes basic wage and excludes overtime pay at 1.25 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 8 per day. Employers must pay via the Wage Protection System.

Foreign drivers require a work visa sponsored by a Kuwaiti employer registered with PAM, with a minimum salary of KD 145 for light drivers as of 2026. The sponsor submits the application via the PAM portal including medical fitness certificate and attested driving license. Visa validity is 1-3 years renewable.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid heavy vehicle driving license equivalent to Kuwait's Class 3, and have at least 2 years of verified experience as per PAM guidelines for 2026. No formal education beyond secondary school is required. A clean criminal record and medical fitness test are mandatory.

Required documents include a valid passport, attested driving license from home country, 6-month bank statements showing minimum balance equivalent to KD 1,000, and employment contract specifying KD 145 minimum salary. Sponsor provides commercial registration and proof of PAM approval. Submit via PAM e-services portal.
