This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll work with machinery every day, supporting the smooth running of the yard while building your mechanical skills in a supportive team.Keep the yard clean, organised, and safe for everyoneMove plant and equipment, including loading and unloadingPrepare machinery and attachments for deployment to siteCarry out basic servicing such as greasing, cleaning, and fluid checksSupport mechanics with repairs and maintenance tasksComplete pre-start checks and report any faults or issuesWhat You’ll BringExperience in a yard, workshop, or construction environmentInterest in machinery and a practical approach to problem solvingAwareness of health and safety and a commitment to safe work practicesReliable, physically fit, and comfortable with hands-on workAble to work well both independently and as part of a teamRelevant licences or experience such as forklift, WTR, or basic mechanical skills are an advantageAbout UsBrian Perry Civil are specialists in ground engineering and civil construction, delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging projects.
