Water may seem like such an everyday thing. but that’s what makes it so important. every day, every living thing needs it.So, join us on our mission to ensure every community has access to safe water for life - we believe that’s worth striving for.About The JobWe’re looking for an experienced Wastewater Serviceperson to join our team in Auckland.RequirementsThe role involves carrying out physical work needed to complete high-quality projects to meet company and contract requirements. This may include a wide range of tasks such as:General labouring – cleaning, clearing, lifting or other civil workOperating plant and machinery as required such as loaders, rollers and trucksTrenching, excavation and drainageMaintain tools, plant and equipmentWhat You’ll NeedClass 1 and 2 licence and WTR Endorsements is essential, class 4 licence is desirableConstruction skills and knowledgeIdeally you will have previous experience in maintaining wastewater systems or experience within the construction and utilities industry.Some experience working on three waters, subdivision, and trenching and drainage projects is advantageous.You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently.All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction.
