We are focused on innovation, quality, and collaboration to meet the growing needs of our industry clients.Role DescriptionJob Title: Welding Engineer – Robotic Automation (CMT / Aluminium)Location: Samut Prakan (Bang Sao Thong), ThailandWork Type: Full-time, on-site (shop-floor hands-on)Hands-on engineer who will stand on the shop floor, debug the system, make it work, and own the process through to stable high‑volume production. Owns installation, debugging, commissioning, and ramp-up of a new robotic CMT aluminium welding line. What You’ll Be DoingLine Setup & CommissioningWork directly with FSM (integrator), Fronius, and Yaskawa during installation and commissioning Debug the full system: robot + welding + fixturing + process flowSupport system acceptance and validation End-to-End Process OwnershipOwn full welding process: cleaning β†’ handling β†’ welding β†’ post-process Define and enforce: clean-to-weld timing, handling discipline, environmental control Robotics & Welding AutomationProgram/optimize robotic welding paths (Yaskawa) Tune/optimize Fronius CMT process; improve cycle time, repeatability, stability Ramp-Up / Debugging / QualityLead hands-on problem solving during NPI; drive ramp-up prototype β†’ production Define process control plan, thresholds; use Fronius data for alarms/trending Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes; establish repeatable standards Operator TrainingDevelop training, SOPs, certification; coach operators for consistency during ramp-up Cross-FunctionalWork closely with CNC (fit-up/tolerances), cleaning process, e-coat supplier, QA-AC, Production/Project leadershipRequirements3–8 years welding/manufacturing engineering experience Robotic welding systems experience (Yaskawa preferred) MIG welding experience (CMT preferred)Aluminium welding strongly preferred (training can be provided) Robot programming (Yaskawa preferred); strong troubleshooting/optimisation skills Expected knowledge of shielding gases systems/hazards and welding process safety Mindset: hands-on, shop-floor focused; takes ownership and drives issues to closure What We OfferFull hands-on training provided by FSM, Fronius, and YaskawaOpportunity to become in-house technical expert, lead a new automated welding line, and progress into a senior/lead engineering roleSuccess Looks LikeLine commissioned and accepted; stable NPI β†’ mass production Minimal porosity/defects; low scrap & rework; controlled documented repeatable process; strong trained operator team How to Apply: Send CV + brief intro (subject: Welding Engineer – Robotic CMT)
