As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic education location, where you will help manage access control activities, monitor entry points, verify badges and/or credentials, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization for students, staff, faculty, guests, and vendors entering the location.
• Control entry and exit activity at assigned posts, document visitor and delivery information, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access restrictions, crowd direction, and/or campus-related protocol during special events or emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
