Overview:

Are you a skilled plumber looking for an exciting work environment this season? Six Flags Darien Lake is looking for a Seasonal Plumber to join our Maintenance team. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems across our 1,200-acre property, including the amusement park, Hurricane Harbor water park, and our expansive hotel and campground facilities.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
• System Maintenance: Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on water distribution and wastewater systems, including pipes, fixtures, and hydrants.
• Water Park Support: Assist in the maintenance of water ride plumbing, filtration systems, and chlorination equipment to ensure guest safety and ride uptime.
• Emergency Repairs: Troubleshoot and clear clogged drains, repair leaks, and address burst pipes promptly to minimize impact on park operations.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain restrooms, sinks, and showers in the park and campground; service grease traps and lift stations as needed.
• Project Work: Assist in the installation of new plumbing for seasonal projects, using various materials including PVC, copper, and galvanized pipe.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work meets local building codes and Six Flags safety standards. Document all completed work orders and inspections.

Qualifications: Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of commercial or residential plumbing experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in soldering, brazing, and working with various piping materials (PVC, CPVC, PEX, etc.). Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability: Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays (peak park hours). xklufbp

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
