Our client, a reputable provider of specialized industrial cleaning services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This crucial role involves managing a team of cleaning operatives, coordinating schedules, performing quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within industrial environments. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of industrial cleaning operatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules in coordination with clients and operational needs. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning quality, adherence to standards, and safety protocols are met. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and the correct use of equipment and chemicals. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Respond promptly to client requests and address any issues or concerns related to cleaning services. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, supply usage, and incident reports. Operate and maintain specialized industrial cleaning equipment. Assist in the investigation of accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed. Foster a positive and productive work environment for the cleaning team. Liaise with clients and facility managers to ensure satisfaction with services provided. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Contribute to the continuous improvement of cleaning processes and service delivery. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Proven knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial cleaning. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to train and motivate a diverse team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in using industrial cleaning equipment and machinery. Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential hazards. Experience in hazardous material handling and disposal procedures is a plus. A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
