Requirements
• Grade 9 for the Operational Supervisor Driver
• Grade 10, or equivalent technical qualification and matric will be an advantageous for Senior Operational Supervisor
Driver
• Valid Code C, EC or EC1 Driver’s Licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP / PDP)
• Computer literacy (MS Word / Excel)
• SAP exposure where relevant
• Operational Supervisor Driver: 1–2 years relevant experience,
including exposure to supervising operational work teams and relevant heavy vehicle driving experience in an operational environment (where relevant)
• Senior Operational Supervisor Driver: 3–5 years relevant experience, including experience as an Operational
Supervisor Driver and proven experience supervising teams on complex or high-risk operational sites
Key Performance Areas
• Supervise, coordinate, and lead operational teams performing service delivery activities at facilities and worksites
• Plan, allocate, prioritise, and reorganise daily work programmes to ensure productivity and service delivery outputs
• Operate heavy and specialised vehicles and perform vehicle-
related tasks during maintenance and operational activities
• Monitor, control, and report on maintenance and service delivery activities, including roads, stormwater, sewer reticulation, waste collection, and related infrastructure
• Control and manage the use of materials, tools, equipment,
vehicles, and personnel for operational activities
• Transport staff, materials, and equipment to and from worksites and facilities
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, road traffic legislation, and statutory requirements, including public safety
