As a Junior Automotive Electrician Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced master technicians, gaining hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical systems in a wide range of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting senior technicians with diagnosing electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment. Learning to repair and replace electrical components such as wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems. Performing routine maintenance checks on electrical systems. Reading and interpreting technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adhering to all safety procedures and company policies. Participating actively in training sessions and workshops to build technical skills and knowledge. Developing proficiency in using various hand and power tools relevant to automotive electrical work. Providing support to the workshop team as needed. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in mechanics and electronics, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn. A matriculation certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science is preferred. Previous exposure to mechanics or electrical work, even at a hobbyist level, would be advantageous. You must be physically fit, possess good problem-solving skills, and have excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time, on-site apprenticeship designed to provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of automotive electrical repair.
