Electrician – Electro-Mechanical Maintenance

An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their technical team.

Minimum Requirements:
β€’ Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate
β€’ Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in electro-mechanical repairs, installations, and maintenance
β€’ Proven experience working on industrial electrical and electro-mechanical systems
β€’ Experience within power generation, construction, industrial, or engineering environments will be advantageous
β€’ Sound knowledge of electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting

Skills and Competencies:
β€’ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
β€’ Ability to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
β€’ Sound understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
β€’ Knowledge of plant safety procedures and compliance standards
β€’ Ability to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
β€’ Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
β€’ Good communication and teamwork skills
β€’ Proficient in maintenance reporting and job card completion
