We are looking for vigilant and professional Security Guards to join our team across various sites including office buildings, retail centres, residential estates, and industrial properties. As a Security Guard, you will be the first line of defence in protecting our clients' people, property, and assets. The role involves access control, patrols, surveillance monitoring, and incident response. We provide comprehensive training through our in-house academy, full uniforms, and ongoing career development opportunities. Whether you are new to the security industry or an experienced officer looking for a stable position, we welcome your application. Shifts are rotational and may include day, night, weekend, and public holiday work.
Responsibilities
• Control access to the premises by verifying identification, signing in visitors, and monitoring entry and exit points
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the property to detect and deter suspicious activity
• Monitor CCTV camera feeds and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts
• Write detailed incident reports for any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences
• Respond to emergencies including fire alarms, medical situations, and security threats following standard operating procedures
• Ensure all gates, doors, and windows are secured at the end of business hours
• Assist with crowd control during events and manage vehicle traffic in parking areas
• Maintain a professional and authoritative presence while remaining approachable to staff and visitors
• Communicate effectively with the control room, site management, and fellow security officers
• Enforce site rules and regulations in a firm but respectful manner
• Complete shift handover reports accurately and attend regular security briefings

Requirements
• PSIRA Grade C, B, or A registration (or willingness to register)
• No criminal record — a clear background check is mandatory
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods, walk patrols, and respond to emergencies
• Good observation skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy for operating access control systems and writing reports
• Professional demeanour and neat personal appearance
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotational day/night schedule
• Effective communication skills in English and at least one other South African language
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations diplomatically

Qualifications
Grade 10 minimum. PSIRA registration required (Grade C or higher). First Aid Level 1 is advantageous.
