Job Description
We are looking for a boilermaker who can cast, bend, weld and assembles parts to build iron and steel structures and boilers. Your duty shall include operating machinery and tools to cut and shape metal and steel parts, performing tests on finished boilers and performing boiler maintenance.

Duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Reading manuals and blueprints for work to be performed
• Casting and bending metal parts
• Using power tools and machinery
• Welding steel
• Assembling and installing boilers
• Operating and maintaining boilers
• Completing checklists and boiler logs
• Adhering to relevant regulations and safety standards
• Carrying out gas metal arc welding (GMAW), to manufacture items and components
• Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses
• Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures
• Following engineering plans, drawings and instructions
• Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
• Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments
• Dismantling metal structures
• Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
• Working on site as well as in a workshop.
