Our client is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Apprentice Welders in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA . This apprenticeship program offers a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in welding under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will learn various welding techniques and safety protocols while contributing to the production of high-quality metal fabrications. This is an entry-level position with significant potential for career growth within the company.

Responsibilities: Assist experienced welders and fabricators on various projects. Learn and practice different welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and deburring. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Safely operate and maintain welding equipment and tools. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures. Perform basic fabrication tasks as required. Understand material properties and their suitability for different welding processes. Participate actively in training sessions and skill development programs. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment. Develop an understanding of quality control standards in welding and fabrication. Follow instructions precisely and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve. Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent educational qualification. A strong interest in welding and metal fabrication. Basic understanding of mathematics and physics principles relevant to trade. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work safely and responsibly in a workshop environment. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Previous exposure to metalworking or trade environments is an advantage but not required. Must be willing to commit to the full duration of the apprenticeship program. Good communication skills. This apprenticeship is designed to build a solid foundation for a successful career in the welding trade.
