Job Description
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Welder to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA . The role involves assisting senior welders with projects, preparing materials for welding, and maintaining tools and equipment. You will gain exposure to different types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, across a variety of materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing metal components for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and cutting. Learn and apply various welding techniques under supervision. Operate welding equipment safely and effectively. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe workplace. Participate actively in training sessions and skill development programs. Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
