Role: Assistant Marine Technical Superintendent.

Location: Port Harcourt

JOB PURPOSE

To work with the Marine Technical Superintendent / Marine Department, ensure safe and efficient vessel operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory and class requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum: COC Chief Engineer, HND/B.ENG in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in similar position
• Possess relevant sea - going work experience as Chief Engineer / Marine Engineer with minimum class 2 certification or equivalent, experience in AHTS, Offshore Supply/Offshore tug /Dive Support vessels, Security vessels/Platform Supply vessels.
• Those with DP vessels experience will be highly advantageous.
• Analytical and highly proactive in technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Familiarity with ISM/ISPS is a must.
• Able to conduct effective stand – up training for vessel crew.
• Ability to travel with short notice as required.
