We're looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our team on a casual basis. AM shift – 5:45am – 14.30pm PM shifts - 14:30pm – 21:00pm and 16:30pm – 21:00pm About UsEstablished in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area, including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages and by participating in food safety processes Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference Be comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays Essential Criteria Authority to Work in Australia Experience in Healthcare/hospitality (preferred) Working with Children check (if relevant) Commitment to service excellence Strong time management and prioritisation skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Keen attention to detail Work well independently and within a team Available for on-call shifts Healthscope, where career means more!No matter where you are at in your career, at Healthscope you can choose your own adventure.
