Then this is the role for you!About The RoleGold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Orderlies to join our team on a casual basis. This role will see you working as part of our rotational roster with flexible shift times available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their stay with us.About UsEstablished in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Gold Coast Private Hospital is continually growing and offers exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in health care.As An Orderly Your Responsibilities Will Include Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers. General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients Work as an active team member to support all work tasks Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily availableEssential CriteriaCert 3 in Health Services or interest in obtainingExperience as an orderly in a hospital environment preferredVaccination and serology records prior to commencementWorking with Children checkCommitment to service excellenceAbility to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHigh level attention to detailWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
