We are seeking Part Time Security Guard for the Calgary-Seton area

Shifts are Friday & Saturday – 2100 to 0400 – 7 hours per shift

Pay rate $16.50 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
β€’ Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel.
β€’ Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
β€’ Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
β€’ Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
β€’ Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
β€’ Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
β€’ Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
β€’ Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
β€’ Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
β€’ Valid provincial Security Guard License
β€’ Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
β€’ Reliable means of transportation and must have own vehicle
β€’ Excellent organizational skills
β€’ Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
β€’ Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
β€’ Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols
β€’ Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
β€’ First Aid/ CPR is considered an asset
