NOW HIRING: Security Guard / Bouncer

Gallery Calgary is looking for confident, professional, and reliable security staff to join our nightlife team. We’re seeking individuals who can help create a safe, high-energy, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

Requirements
• 1–3+ years of nightclub, bar, venue, or event security experience preferred
• Valid Alberta Security License (ProTect)
• Comfortable working in high-volume nightlife environments
• Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
• Physically fit, alert, and dependable
• First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
• Availability for late-night weekend and holiday shifts required

Responsibilities
• Monitor entrances, guest flow, and crowd management
• Verify IDs and support venue policies
• Handle disturbances and assist with safe patron removal when necessary
• Work alongside management and bar staff during busy service hours
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
• Help maintain a safe, enjoyable, and controlled atmosphere
