Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa is currently seeking a passionate and energetic Cuisine Chef Lecturer to join its dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside exceptional professionals in a prestigious culinary institute.

The primary role of the Chef Lecturer is to deliver an outstanding teaching experience and support students throughout their learning journey. The successful candidate will also assist the academic team with additional responsibilities, contributing to the overall excellence of the program.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Student Support

Ensure the highest quality student experience by:
• Delivering teaching across practical sessions, demonstrations, and technical classes as required
• Fulfilling the institute’s responsibilities regarding student admission, instruction, progress, and assessment
• Providing pastoral support and guidance to students throughout their learning journey
• Adhering to all institutional regulations, policies, and procedures

2. Programme Development
• Refresh and develop new programmes to attract diverse student cohorts and expand into new markets

3. Research Responsibilities
• Maintain the highest standards of quality, integrity, and ethical practice in all research activities
• Foster a dynamic, innovative, and forward-thinking research environment for both staff and students

4. Knowledge Transfer and Engagement
• Identify and develop opportunities for knowledge transfer to generate additional income streams and expand teaching and research activities
• Contribute to institute-wide initiatives that enhance understanding and communication of knowledge transfer activities
• Ensure all activities meet the highest standards, with appropriate evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes in place

5. Academic and Professional Development
• Actively contribute to the development of academic and research standing through continuous professional growth, industry engagement, and scholarly activity
