Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Officer to handle plant electrical maintenance, automation systems, and breakdown activities. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in electrical systems, drives, sensors, and industrial automation, along with adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance & Breakdown
• Handle electrical maintenance and breakdown of machines
• Ensure minimum downtime and smooth plant operations
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

Automation & Instrumentation
• Work on automation systems, drives, and machine parameters
• Handle machine displays, settings, and control systems
• Knowledge of motor encoders and resolvers

Sensors & Field Devices
• Install and maintain fiber optic, photoelectric, and proximity sensors
• Work with reputed makes like SICK, Wenglor, etc.
• Ensure proper functioning of field instruments

Electrical Distribution
• Manage HT/LT distribution systems
• Monitor and maintain power factor (PF) balancing
• Ensure safe and efficient electrical load management

Safety & Compliance
• Follow EHS guidelines and process safety standards
• Ensure safe working practices in all electrical activities
• Adhere to SOPs and safety protocols

Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain maintenance records and reports
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance
• Support project-related documentation and quality records

Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems & automation
• Hands-on experience with drives, PLC basics, and sensors
• Understanding of HT/LT systems and power management
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
