Our stunning new Prebbleton village will be opening its brand new cafe in November, and we’re looking for Food Services team members to join us from the very beginning.This is a fantastic opportunity to be one of the first in, helping shape the culture, routines and resident experience in a beautiful new village environment.We’re looking forExperienced Chefs and Cooks who enjoy preparing quality food and working as part of a busy kitchen team.Kitchen Assistants who are reliable, practical and happy to support food preparation, service and cleaning duties.Cafe Supervisors and Cafe Assistants who are friendly, customer-focused and confident creating a welcoming experience for residents, families and visitors.Experienced people with strong cafe, barista, chef or cookery experience, relevant qualifications, or significant hands-on food services experience.People who are team-focused, dependable and passionate about bringing the best of life to older people.QualificationsShift optionsWe have both full-time and part-time roles available across the Food Services team.Shifts will be a selection of hours between 7:00am and 7:00pm, with the majority finishing by 4:00pm.Most roles will include one weekend shift as part of the roster.Additional InformationWhat’s on offerThe chance to join a brand-new team and help create a welcoming dining and cafe experience for our first residents.Full training will be provided prior to the cafe opening, along with ongoing support for those looking to grow their career in Food Services.Southern Cross Health Essentials insurance.Birthday leaveWhat happens next?Expressions of interest are now open.
