Join our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across various spaces, supporting the overall operations and comfort of our facilities. You’ll be at the forefront of creating a positive impression for visitors, staff, and clients alike by delivering top-notch custodial services with enthusiasm and precision.
Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently to uphold environmental standards
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
• Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
• Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or painting as needed to keep the environment in excellent condition
• Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies safely and effectively to deliver consistent quality results

Qualifications
• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings; industrial cleaning experience is a plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting enhances your versatility
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
