Armed Security Officer

This is a high-trust safety position, not a generic post, designed for the Quiet Professional who can balance tactical readiness with calm mentorship, sound judgment, and restraint.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Pay: $29.00 per hour

Shifts:

Thursday and Sunday - 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Friday and Saturday - 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Training, Support, & Growth

Specific training (de-escalation, adolescent interaction, threat detection)

Direct mentorship from experienced supervisors

Support with clearances and compliance requirements

What You’ll Do

Maintain a professional presence, conduct proactive patrols, ensure employee safety

Use calm verbal de-escalation to manage conflicts and disruptions

Act as a capable first responder during emergencies

Build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries

Write clear, factual incident reports and support operational excellence

Requirements

Minimum five years of Armed Security experience

Military and/or law enforcement experience is required

PA Act 235 Certification and PA Concealed Carry Permit

Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and professional demeanor

No disqualifying criminal history

Preferred

CPR/First Aid/AED
