Job Description
U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking Plumbers in Philadelphia. The Plumber will be responsible for the operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of domestic hot and cold-water systems, sanitary drainage systems, pumps and fixtures in a Correctional Environment. Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fitting and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems according to specification and plumbing codes. Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations. Locates and marks position of piping and pipe valve isolation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and other methods pertaining to the installation of copper, carbon steel, cast iron.
• Experience in soldering, brazing, pro press, pipe threading, pipe grooving, and various other piping methods used in a Commercial/Industrial Environment.
• Fills pipe system with water or air, reads gauges to determine system pressure.
• Proficient in Commercial drain cleaning and service.
• Directs Trade Helper assigned to plumber.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic literacy and the strength and dexterity required to perform heavy lifting tasks.
• High School Diplomas, GED or Trade School
• Minimum (3) three years’ experience in the plumbing trades
• Licensed at the Journeyman level in the City of Philadelphia
• Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment
• Capable of reading blueprints, drawings and layouts
• Must be able to read and speak English clearly
• Valid Driver's license
• Able to climb ladders and walk long distances.
• Able to pass Background Investigation without Criminal history.
• Must be able to pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Random Drug Testing.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Must be able to work in all climate conditions.
• Will be working in a Correctional environment, which is a 24/7 operation. Shifts to be assigned
• Shifts may involve multiple schedules.
