Job Description
Job Title: Piper Welder Action Group Staffing is currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders to fill openings in the Duncanville area. (South Dallas) Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years’ experience in Welding
• ASME code Section9 Certified Welder (PQR, WPS, & WPQ)
• Pass a background check and drug test
Benefits: Pay: $20 – $24 per hour depending on experienceMonday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Overtime on Saturdays as needed Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
• Cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repair equipment utilizing tools like mig-welders, plasma cutters, arc welders, chop saw, oxyacetylene torch, etc.
• Designing and fabricating the equipment and parts for meeting special or unusual needs, using the specifications, calculator, measuring devices, drawings, etc.
• Installing or removing any special equipment as needed
• Designing and creating holding jigs that aid in fabrication of parts
• Maintain a record of all work completed
• Maintain routine inventory supplies that are used for operating welding unit and request purchase of stock as required
