In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling up sustainable e-commerce packaging standards and sustainable packaging solutions.

To be successful, you will need excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. We interface with Operations, Engineering, Category, Finance, Procurement, Data Science, and Global Packaging teams to identify and execute solutions that improve Customer experience by reducing waste and damages in packaging, while also driving significant savings for Amazon. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, innovative thinking and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, ambiguous and technical environment.

Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of driving projects and strategic initiatives to completion. The ideal candidate is motivated, optimistic and agile; with strong time management and project management skills.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering projects and goals.
• Work directly with key internal stakeholders, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery.
• Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate.
• Influence design and development of packaging and associated processes.
• Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and deliver critical business initiatives.
• Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.
• Coordinate and communicate packaging improvements and progress updates to key stakeholders.
• Data analytics and root cause analysis to identify the gaps in performance and drive actions for improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in an operational role
