Job Description
Basic Requirement:

• *Minimum 1 year experience in Warehousing or Logistics
• Duties & Experience:
• Check assigned shelves and ensure that all shelves are adequately replenished with correct product lines according to bin location and product description.
• Receive Picking Task and go the bin location. Pick according to Bin location, product description, barcode and quantity.
• Check that the quality of the product has not been compromised.
• Assemble orders carefully into crates or totes provided.
• Pick according to First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and First in First out (FIFO) principles.
• Unpack open stock that arrives in aisles and replenish to shelves as required.
• Conduct weekly batch controls and complete weekly cycle counts.
• Perform routine housekeeping in allocated aisle
• Once an order has been scanned and invoiced, the packer will receive the tote/crate with the scanned order.
• Check that the Delivery Note/Invoice and barcoded sticker correspond.
• Check that the products in the tote/crate match the Delivery Note and quantity.
• Establish what is the most applicable form of packaging to be used for the order. (Carton or plastic bag)
• Ensure that when packing an order that fragile products are bubble wrapped and that lighter products are placed on top of heavier products to prevent damages. Liquids must be placed upright to prevent leakages.
• Place warning stickers on packed carton or plastic bag if items are fragile.
• All orders must be packed accurately and in full.
• Parcels must have the Delivery Note or Invoice on the inside and the corresponding sticker on the outside, sealed with a goose neck sealer.
• Boxes to be sealed with tape and the Delivery note or invoice placed in a plastic sleeve outside of the box with corresponding sticker.
• Once the order has been packed, place it in the allocated crate according to round number.
